The melody was written by George Bassman, famous for his “I’m Getting Sentimental Over You.” The lyrics were authored by Buddy Ebsen himself who has quite a roster of songs to his credit. Reverse side of the record is the theme song from “The Beverly Hillbillies,” also sung by Ebsen.
